Medical report

My company provided a free medical checkup for everyone and I paid additional 80 dollars to check more about my body. Every part of my body seems ok.

But I have borderline high Cholesterol!!! Haha so weird for a slim guy right? Actually not tt surprising when I am eating like around 10 eggs per week. Then my heart sank even further when the second sentence is HIGH cholesterol. Almost fainted. But lucky that high cholestrol is GOOD High cholesterol. Phew....

I blindly follow a high energy diet and the report says it all. Going to reduce the intake of eggs soon. My mum is going to pass all the egg yolks to my nephew. Then I say cannot, later he also high cholesterol. My mum always has the thinking that when you are young, its ok to be glutton. Hope I am fit and healthy again. Most importantly is hope I dun lose any weight. Hehe.

Cheers to good health and lucky that I found out early I had borderline high cholestrol.

Results out today for NTU papers

Time really flies. Now is technically the fourth year semester one if I were in NTU. All my juniors and engineering friends must be feeling nervous at this hour. Then, GB was saying we were camping for it for the past 3 years.. Kinda weird when I am not doing do it anymore. Nostalgic.

Anyway...

Making Mistakes in Soccer

Upgrade RAM

My mum's friend passed her an old computer and I managed to scavenge three 512 DDR RAM. DDR RAM is an old technology but it is more expensive than DDR II RAM as it is no longer in mass production. However 2 of the RAMs are not usable but managed to insert one of it to my computer. Can see a faster processing speed :) Maybe I am going to send one of the unusable 512 Kingston RAM for repair as it is life time warranty.

Just had a family steamboat dinner at my 3rd sister's Boon Keng house. They opened two abalone and I only ate one bowl of small rice and was just practically trying to finish the chicken breast meat and the prawns. After that is Fifa 9 and I was up against my brother in law and Joel. Haha, I managed to win most of the matches and the loser had to drink red wine. Then, I also had a few glimpses of Modern Warfare 2. I feel that it just a upgrade version of Counterstrike and using mouse and keyboard will be easier to play for first party shooting.

Xmas mood

Seem like the trains are not as crowded as before. Everybody seems to be taking a long holiday break.

Xmas

It will be a half day for xmas eve. My friends booked a hotel to celebrate xmas. Quite cool right. There will be the usual xmas gift exchange and maybe some games. However, Gb will not be there but finally can meet up with Jason Mah :)

Troubled

I am perpetually in 'pushing myself harder' mode. Very troubled.

Spring cleaning and nasal problems

I started cleaning my room since Saturday. I cleared alot of rubbish from my designated army shelf as I finally know what is needed for reservist.

I used to have headache after my sleep and that was quite severe during my uni days. Only until now then I realise that I had nose block during my sleep and my brain did not have enough oxygen. Nowadays, I rely on Breathlight ( the one that you stick on the nose ) and nasal spray. I always think 8 hrs of sleep is always not enough for me and now I cant sleep more than 9hrs. Yeah :)

Back to army

I am posted to watercraft platoon which means I get to drive boats. Actually, there is an even more relaxing unit but driving a boat is more fulfilling. We have to carry heavy boats but its just part and parcel of army. My left knee is hurt now as the new machines are super heavy.

I am quite tanned now as the weather is super hot, my hands and face's skin are red now. Applied some body moisturiser and hope it works. My reservist will end soon and I will go back to audit. Actually I am quite happy as the army will pay me by pegging to my salary if not I will be severely under compensated. Haha

Cfa exam

Finally finished my exam. Ok I was super complacent and didnt study a lot for the past one week as the Kaplan exams seem easy.

At the 2nd paper of the CFA exam, I was already cursing and swearing. Super hard questions.. Super sad after the exam as I was just guessing the answers.

This week I will be going back to army and today is my last day at work. Super stressed cos I have to pass down my work to my colleagues. I feel so bad cos they have to follow up my work but my friend told me that you will get used to it next time. I hope army is fun. Great time to catch up and gather to chit chat.

Two days leave

I am going to spend this Thursday and Friday (on annual leave) to study my CFA. Hope I can concentrate!
