Whenever I say I am Cavan, alot of people will give me the weird look. Kevin is it?

Actually quite a few clients called me Kevin then one day my client called me and say Kevin! And I lagged 10 seconds and turned back and say Hello~.

I like my name but its hard to introduce myself in the first meeting.

Work Vs Study

Helping ppl

I was reading a blog and the blogger wrote about his friend. His friend said that a few of his friends whom he had helped before don't even want to help him when he needs help but friends that he hardly know sometimes surprise him by offering to help.

For me, I will always offer help whoever you are when in need (must be within my capability) and will take the extra mile if you had helped me before or you have related blood ties. But the bad thing about me is that, when I helped you before, and when I really need help and you gave me a lackluster response, I will feel very sad. Then, later I will be less enthusiastic about helping you next time.

I think the best person around is helping without thinking of getting anything back. I always thought I am that kind of person but several circumstances happened and I felt sad over it which I think is wrong. Hope I can change my mindset.

Facial

One of my colleagues, Bing Xian went for facial on Thursday. Then as usual, I will say bo jio (How come you didn't ask me to tag along). Then a group of girls around her started to stare at me. Ok I have to admit when my fren first told me he went for facial during my army days, I was shocked. How come my fren is so SISSY?

My perception changed when my mum asked me to accompany her to go facial. It is painful but its super worth it. Your face will feel much more smoother and nicer too. Given that I am now not in army, my face has turned better so most of the time I only go facial once every 4 months. Guys are vain too.

Braun Buffel

I bought this bag at the Great Singapore Sale. Anyway I bought this bag as I feel that its quite worth it. It looks cheap compared to a Braun Buffel wallet. The bag is like 10 times the size of the wallet but cost less than 5 times the price of the wallet. My weird analogy.

I like the bag alot but I will say this bag looks fragile and as it is leather, I am very scared that something will happen to it. My frens bought a hundred plus Pedro bag and look like they can be thrown and withstand shocks! I will hesitate to buy another leather bag next time. Hmmm

Spring cleaning

Went to fly kite yesterday and my kite was the highest among so many kites. I asked the experts and they told me around 600 to 700m. Woohoo. Super ego boosting.

I have around 50 mails in my corporate mail account. Decided to clear everything and record down all the important stuff in Word format. I hate inefficiency. I had been opening mails and its information galore. Now zero mails in my inbox. I feel so happy :)

Besides spring cleaning my mail box yesterday, I cleaned my room today too. Super satisfying. I also plastered my armchair as the leather is coming off again. Bought it in 2006 at $100 plus dollars and it is from Vihive. A bit angry that the quality is so poor.

Grilled nuggets

I think one year ago at NTU, Jason mah said to me why I like fried food so much when we were ordering food at Canteen A. Thereafter, I suddenly realised that its wrong to order so many fried side dishes.
Nowadays, I will always complain to my mother and ask her why she always like to fry so much and enforce an almost no fry regime for my meals. I want her to steam fish or grill the food instead. Today, I have managed to cook my nuggets using my oven. Quite nice to me as I don't really have high standards for food wise. I used to eat army food to save money last time.

Sensitive word

Decided to use this K word as company sent a mass email advising us not to blog too much about them so I limit my blog scope.

Anyway after a few days, I realise they are nice people.. ( I think this can blog right?) HAHA

I have started to eat lunch for half an hour only as I wanna go home earlier and be efficient. I am quite tired but nothing beats the satisfaction of finding errors. Though I made errors too, helping people to find genuine innocent errors are cool too :)

EY people just went to Malacca

My best friend, Jason's birthday is today. He just went to Malacca for EY overseas training. I saw Yihao and Ben at Raffles Place Mrt today, they were preparing to go to Malacca too :)

I think K people are very nice for now. Lets see how nice they are when I start working with them :)

First day at K

Everything is fine and I experienced a tremor today on the 20th floor. Feeling super giddy afterwards. Been talking to a SMU friend, David, and he seems nice :)
