Computer

My desktop was down and I have to decide whether to buy a total new one or save some money by buying an IDE harddisk. Though it can potentially save money but the fault of a computer may not only lies on the harddisk. A new computer that can play most of the games cost around $900. My mum wanted to pay half of it. So nice right. But I decide to listen to kevin's advice. He said I shouldn buy a com just for playing.

So in the end, I bought one 320GB internal harddisk. -_- Which cost more than a SATA 320GB harddisk. All the com terms are out and maybe eye boggling for some. IDE is an older tech than SATA. Due to reduced production of old tech, IDE cost more than SATA :(

Anyway, I also helped jason mah to upgrade his RAM. Dunno why cannot slot in two RAMs in two slots which I slot till I almost have blisters! The com cannot detect the other RAM slot.. ARgghh.. In the end, I slot in his new 1GB Ram to the slot and his old 512MB RAM is left to rot. First time, JAson mah keep saying Thank you to me. HAHAHA. Cos really slot until have to take out shirt lo. So hot weather! Then Jason mah had a steering wheel with acceleration and brake pedals. Cool! I tried using it but cant really control the car on the car racing game :(

So for the past few days, I spent my inital days on reformatting my com more than 10 times. One reformat takes 2 hrs. I jus let it run and watch TVs. Then after the harddisk, is about the Caesar 4 game. I played on laptop though. Cos I was lazy to reformat my new harddisk.
So after completing half the Caesar Campagin, I start on the new harddisk. To my horror.. the motherboard cannot detect the graphics card. No screeen came out! MAybe it was due to my accidental touch on the graphics card. So its all about patience... Slot in and out 4 times and finally it works. Really at the mercy of my computer at that point of time. I thought my 320 GB will be gone into waste.

So after reformatting, then I played the old game, THeme hospital. A super classic game which I played during sec 3. During sec 3, I played using cheat codes and still cannot complete. So I try to get some tips from the Net and Today i Completed everything! ALL in 3 days! For one of the days,I slept at 3 and woke up at 7am to play.. I think I am wasting my life to com games. I just borrowed some books so I must remind myself to read them soon :) thats all then

Manage to claim dental costs

I think i mentioned that I broke my retainer in Taiwan. Haha and I managed to claim it from my travel insurance company! $82 dollars!!
Hahaha, then before my claim, the guobin jokingly said the case is remote and started to bring out the business law to me. Lucky, I tried and ask them!

Anyway, next time if you incur any dental or medical costs, try asking, no harm right :) Quite happy now cos i have been spending alot of money on dental and this is a real case that i broke my retainer in Taiwan :)

Yahoo! News

TAIPEI - A jobless Taiwan man released from prison stole a box of cotton swabs just to get arrested again because he "could not forget the police department boxed lunches," officers and local media said Tuesday.

The homeless man in Taipei first stole a pair of shoes on Sunday, was detained and released, the Liberty Times said. He then resorted to stealing again the next day just to get back inside and be fed for free.

"If someone's not doing well and comes in around meal time, we'll definitely prepare food," said an officer, surnamed Wang, at the Hsinyi District police station, which handled the case but again released the suspect, Tsou Hao-lan.

In another sign of the times on the recession-hit island, a man who had been without a job for four months stole a motor scooter and drove it to a Taipei-area police station, the paper said.

Feels weird right? Maybe when you are an ex-convict, its hard to get job in this tough times. Quite Sad

New Bag, Shoes and singlet

Bought a pair of boots and one briefcase for work :) Super happy because the GSS is here in town. Robinson Stores absorb GST now and I saved at least $35 from it. Haha. Newurbanmale has 50% off. Crazy right. So I bought one singlet for sentosa trips. U know the singlet wore by Da yang tian. I think it is quite a cool singlet :)

Anyway, EY delayed employment date to oct also, tts y can ask my frens to take level 1 with me. Times are really bad :( But EY training will be conducted in Malacca. Not too bad after all. 2 weeks in Malaysia

KPMG

First they delayed my start work date, now they going to scrap off off-in-lieu. These are serious setbacks
They said its is not a norm to have graduates claim overtime. But I feel that off-in-lie wont kill the company off a profit if we claim overtime. Due to the fact that during off peaks, we clear off. No cost to the company. We are not claiming money from overtime, its just getting off back
:( x 10

See my msn conversation.

S says (4:31 PM):
yah i read tt article...pwc considering...
crazy one...no off lieu i wldn't even think of going there lor

Cavan says (4:32 PM):

Cavan says (4:33 PM):

Show Luo 'acquitted'

Report from Channelnewsasia:
Luo became embroiled in a chat-room scandal which took on a life of its own in the entertainment industry after the woman he chatted with went on to reveal details of their conversation to the media.

It later turned out that the story was untrue and the magazine published an apology on Wednesday, adding that the report was inaccurate, as the details in the story were misguided and unconfirmed.

After seeing the apology, Luo broke out in smiles and even danced around the office lounge.
-End-

This is super funny. Can imagine his smiles and his childish moves. Hahaha.

Komodo Dragons

This is the first time I put such a small photo.. This photo is damn gross. I hate lizards!! Imagine the world's biggest lizard coming out of toliet. Its like What THE HELL!! Imagine our household lizards all like that, I will ask my family to migrate straight away. FREAK. I know some people not scared of lizards but I found those not scared of lizards will scare of cockroach. Imagine that cockroach is 70kg and 3 metres crawling under your feet.

One way to curb phobia towards cockroach or lizards is to catch them using plastic lunch boxes and stare at them. Help a little.. I stare at the household lizards for a few minutes. STill very gross, the body is translucent and blood vein could be seen.. Yucks..

As a very Leo person, I actually hold a small crocodile in Vietnam. Slimy man but the photo is not with me. Should be with Jinrong. Hahaha same family as lizards

This photo is about the gigantic lizard coming out of the toilet. OH MY GOD!!
