Batam Cable Ski

Yesterday I went Batam Cable Ski. I ski from 10am to 5pm with lunch break of course. It was very fun and I eventually know how to ski on a wake board. Super tiring after that and my body still aches all over now. I like to wear helmet and my helmet is green~ Safety is very important especially you do not want ppl to ski over your head when u fall into the water. Hazards including friends not wearing specs for cable ski! This time round I went Batam with a batch of relatively new friends and the company is great. They are very nice people and the whole trip is very enjoyable~

I finally made it after 10 tries... Thanks Huixian for taking this photo for me !!!

Random

I was quite vexed with my desktop recently. So I started to ask Qingjun for advice again. I decided to play around with the computer and found out that the battery of my computer is not working. I removed the battery and insert my thermometer's battery (which is the same) and it worked! Damn tiring as I have to dismantle the casing and trial and error. Within one month, harddisk is not working and battery with no power :(

I finally clear my Statistic hurdle for CFA and I need to keep my schedule in check as I lagged behind already.

Went to take some graduation photos with Pong, Jason, Gb and Qian. I am the photographer so you cant really see my photos appearing in facebook. Feel like buying a DSLR but its so expensive :( But everyone on the street appears to have one DSLR -_- Thats what pong said so too. And I feel they just buy the camera for the auto mode to get good pictures without reading the manuals or books on how to operate the manual mode. Super waste of the camera's talent. Haha.

Going to meet Shunzhong later to discuss some stuff. I believe I hit 100th post already!

Govt policy

Singapore's Ministry of Finance (MOPF) said on Friday it will not change the current tax structure for property sales after negative feedback from the public.

Review: This is really surprising to me as the government actually take the step to gather feedback from the public. Kudos to their management :)

CFA

After a few weeks of playing computer games, I started to study my CFA finally. I could only finish 200 pages. Oh my.. Its damn hard! My progress is so slow. Quantitative and statistics are killing me. I need to hit the economics and accounts textbook soon so that I can finish faster.

Got a email and a call, and I am rejected. Well life has to go on then~

Comments from Cat~

This is what Catherine wrote in her blog:
He has always been too direct and straightforward for my taste, but nevertheless, that's also where his virtue lies. the friendship with him is just too different from the rest. he's never one to share most of my intimate or innermost secrets, yet he is one whom i feel comfortable with to be myself. he's never one who'll pour his woes to you, yet i'm always ready to help him in anyway. sometimes, these makes me feel the lack of concreteness in this friendship, yet the friendship bond is there, it's hard to deny. (insecurities sometimes just have to kick in) he'll always be this optimistic friend who'll show you the brighter side of the world.

Hmm. The whole statement totally describes me. I would say I am more direct to best frens but I dun like to share my woes to people. The fact is I like to settle my problems my ownself and not to trouble people. However, I dun mind helping people to solve their problems if I am capable to do it.

So come to optimistic part. I wouldnt say I am always happy but I feel its important to feel contented and try not to look at negative parts too often. HOWEVER, I do complain too! Mostly to Guobin and Jason cos I feel they wont expose to my dirty linens to the public. But Gb is disappointing me nowadays. Hahaha. Jason is more reliable!

Random: My nephew keep pressing numbers on the phone and one day he calls the POLICE! Argghh.. I wonder why they didnt use 911. Harder for kids to press that number than 999 right due to the fact they jus press 3 consecutively 999 and tada.... He get throught that number.

Anyway, didnt blog often nowadays as I was playing game and blogspot is having problems~

Xabi Alonso

The Liverpool match at the National Stadium atmosphere was great and everybody was singing, making it almost like Anfield. During the match, Kopites were cheering for Xabi Alonso to stay in Anfield. Personally, I feel that Rafa Benetiz (manager) didn't handle well. Rafa was talking about loyalty to the employers when Rafa was the one who intended to sell him last year to bring in Gareth Barry. Anyway, if we can get Rafael van der Vaart and Huntelaar from Real Madrid, it will be a great transfer. First, we remove the uncertainties of Alonso's departure, improving dress room atmosphere and we get two good players to play on the flanks and strikeforce. We have so many central midfielders, sell one Alonso and bring in two great players to cover our weak area will be the wise decision.

Paper chase~

I had signed up for CFA previously and a package of 6 textbooks arrived 3 days later. Constant paper chase seems to be the norm within my circle of network and I wouldn't say I am burned out as I had two good months of break. I duno I should aim for CFA level II and III as it will be detrimental to my health since I will be starting to work again and a MBA will be the ultimate.
