Back from Thailand

I bought a lot of stuff in Thailand. 500 dollars Sing dollars. More than GB's $350. I also bought some stuff for my nephew.

First Math tuition since Uni Yr 2 sem1

My sister passed me her tuition kids to me. Two thailand girls from Yuying Secondary. So before any tuition assignments, I went to read up first to recall my memory. Tuition is not easy money-making too.

They are very smart. Like 4th and14th in the whole level. They lose to others cos of chinese so you can see how well they do for maths. Most of the time, the kids I get are those almost failed or failed type. So feel a sense of achievement by just making them pass or get better grades. This time round will prove challenging to me :)
Time passed very fast and they are very obedient and call me teacher. Haha.

So was going back home from tuition and there was one lady coming to me and starting to ask me whether I was studying. As exams were over, so I bothered to answer her qns and said that I graduated (hoping Astro will pass).

So she said,'Poly?' I almost feel like fainting. Poly is like 19 years old. Later I go audit client, client will ask so are you a poly intern -_- Like no seh at all. I am a junior associate. Haha.

Anyway I am not complaining, just some random talk. Look younger is definitely better.

Singapore Flyer and Marina Barrage

Guobin, Jason and I went back home to put our heavy textbooks and notes after the last exam paper in NTU. Guobin's msn nick is graduated. I really dun dare to put it. First time in history, I feel that I can fail an elective. 4 AUs cores are easier than a one 3AU Astro elective. I can only hope and pray.

So putting our stuff, we met at Singapore Flyer to buy the tickets before 6pm. Guobin asked the counter whether we can sit in the capsule at 6.40pm and they actually allowed us :) So we managed to see some sunset. I may sit for the night time for one more time. Cheap ! 10 Dollars.

After Flyer, Qian and Pong joined us to go to the marina barrage at night. Qian was having her last elective exam whereas Pong had been to flyer for the day time. Qian said night time will be romantic. Hahaha. 3 guys and 2 gals how romantic u wan it to be. The marina barrage looks like ADAM. Design almost the same. Here are some of the photos :)

Thai trip and electives

Heard from cat that thai trip can be canceled since we bought insurance. But I feel its a bit wasted to cancel the trip but lets see if the situation is getting worse. Our trip is 23rd to 27th May.

Astro was down. It was difficult and I took the full 2 hrs to complete. I was quite smug tt since i SUed i will leave at 1 hr mark. I was definitely wrong. When I come out, everybody was complaining tt the paper was difficult.
But no matter how difficult, the killer paper BS803 is definitely worse. I still remember to tell my engin frens to take tt but fortunately all are in attachments so they didnt take. I always have the feeling tt if i can do well in that elective so can you mentality. However the format changed so much. Every qns, you may have to shade more den one answer. If that happen to astro, I will declare I will faint. I hope all my frens and I pass bio pop and astro. Pray*

First exam down. Just found out that the Singapore Flyer will be cheap if you are a student. So, after the last paper, I will plan a trip to flyer with jason and gb. Not sure whether to ask the rest thou. Later whole ntu ppl is going. Hahaha. Ok I dun have tt kind of charm.

Last sem, me gb and jason went to Jurong Bird Park. Sijie and Chunxu pangseh us! But filial Sijie said he went to visit grandma so I forgive him. Supposed to be a AA301 grp trip! Anyway that was long long ago. Hope Singapore Flyer brings the same amount of luck to our results as Jurong Bird Park. Hahaha.
