Humbling experience and Audit firm

I was playing Age of Empires II for one week and decided to try my skills on the net. My post title said it all. Hahaha. I am going to trash Guobin for sure as he havent even started playing yet.

Anyway, I went to talk to my Kpmg friend who is working there. She said that though there is no overtime pay, she has not work overtime since February. The trend of people working late is gone! Seem like HR department has been doing well to improve Kpmg image ;)

Michael Owen

Soccernet:
It's lucky for Michael Owen that Sir Alex Ferguson rates him, because Manchester United supporters certainly do not. Since he signed on Friday, the club shop has yet to receive a single request for an Owen shirt.

During his Liverpool playing days, he was the prince. Some of my classmates (gals) will adore him as he is cute and has the lightning speed to destroy three Argentina defenders in the World Cup 1998.

Its just weird that he went to Manchester. But I think he will be a good substitute and with the wages heavily dependent on appearances, this could be a shrewd buy from Ferguson due to the inflated market created by Real Madrid.

RGE monitor

Didn't copy the article full scale but its interesting to finance world.

THE 19th century was dominated by the British Empire, the 20th century by the United States. We may now be entering the Asian century, dominated by a rising China and its currency. While the dollar status as the major reserve currency will not vanish overnight, we can no longer take it for granted. Sooner than we think, the dollar may be challenged by other currencies, most likely the Chinese renminbi. This would have serious costs for America, as our ability to finance our budget and trade deficits cheaply would disappear.

Traditionally, empires that hold the global reserve currency are also net foreign creditors and net lenders. The British Empire declined and the pound lost its status as the main global reserve currency when Britain became a net debtor and a net borrower in World War II. Today, the United States is in a similar position. It is running huge budget and trade deficits, and is relying on the kindness of restless foreign creditors who are starting to feel uneasy about accumulating even more dollar assets. The resulting downfall of the dollar may be only a matter of time.

I still miss him - MJ

You are not alone..
I watched his music videos months before he passed away. Research on how he actually can lean his body forward and I did try to do that and fall flatly on the bed. I watched videos on how to moonwalk like him on youtube. He is always imitated by people but can never be duplicated.

Cool quotes for KOP

Shankly to Alan Ball after he signed for Everton...'Never mind son, at least you'll be playing near a great team now'

Andy Grey once said, 'If you cut Jamie Carragher in half he'd bleed Red'...

"Who's bigger than Liverpool?" (Jamie Carragher when asked by Sky Sports if he'd thought of moving to a bigger club)

There are only two teams on merseyside...Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves!

1."He couldn't play anyway. I only wanted him for the reserve team!" Bill Shankly upon hearing Celtic's Lou Macari had snubbed Liverpool in favour of a move to Manchester United."

2.On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive - they'll need them!"

Don't forget the lyrics

Yesterday, I went to Caldecott Broadcast Centre to watch the Don't forget the lyrics (chinese verison) show. My friend's gf is the participant so I managed to get the tickets. Haha, I was quite excited as I thought they will come out Jay Chou songs, then I can sing along. My friends were late so we were forced to sit in the front. I think there is a very high probability to see me swaying to the songs cos we were asked to do so -_-

A lot of problems in recording as this is the first episode and it ended quite late. Only have one photo as they dont allow to take photos in studio :)
